A small workshop that makes things to last
Sanai3i started at one bench in Amman. Today we make furniture, homeware and metalwork by hand, and sell the tools we trust to other makers.

The maker“Every piece should be good enough to repair, not replace.”
I learned the trade in my uncle's shop in downtown Amman, sweeping shavings before I was allowed to hold a chisel. Twenty years later, the work is the same: choose good wood, cut honest joints, and finish it so it ages well.
We started selling tools because customers kept asking what we use. Now every tool in the shop is one we have tested at our own bench.
From board to
finished piece
Four steps, all by hand, all under one roof in Amman.
01Choose the material
Local and imported hardwoods, and steel we forge ourselves.
02Mark and cut
Joints cut by hand, the way they've been made for centuries.
03Assemble and shape
Fitted, glued and shaped until every surface feels right.
04Finish
Natural oils and waxes that protect the wood and age well.
What we care about
Honest materials
Solid wood and real metal. No veneers pretending to be something else.
Tools we've tested
We only sell what we use at our own bench, and we'll tell you how to look after it.
